Tomatoes are very easy to grow. In organic college we used to call them weeds (like potatoes which they are closely related to). Try to keep the soil moist, not wet, and give them some homemade seaweed manure liquid fertiliser for extra calcium and minerals. They are very easy to grow in a container as individual plants and will need a little support. They need lots of sun and grow best under cover but if you have a south facing wall protected from excessive wind try growing them outside.
